KLM suspends flights to Abuja and Kano!

Suspension of KLM Abuja & Kano Flights
KLM Operational Information
Dear Chouckie,

From 4th June 2012, KLM will suspend flights operations departing from and returning to Abuja and Kano, Nigeria. This decision was due to business reasons.

All passengers previously booked on KLM Abuja and Kano flights have been re-booked on Air France Abuja flights.

From 4th June 2012, Air France will operate daily flights to Abuja, Nigeria on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. The flights will be operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

With a total capacity of 208 seats, the A330-200 has 40 seats in the Business class cabin, 21 in the
Premium Voyageur cabin and 147 in the Voyageur (Economy) cabin. The A330-200 is equipped with the new "Full sleep" Business class seat, which is longer, wider, more spacious and better enhances the quality of sleep during flights. This new Air France destination will further strengthen Air France-KLM’s services to Nigeria and at the same time illustrate our continuous growth strategy in Africa. With its network of 69 destinations in Africa and Middle-East in summer 2012, Air France, KLM and its partners are offering even more destinations and non-stop flights, between these regions and the hubs at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam Schiphol.

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to welcoming you on board our Air France and KLM flights.

Yours sincerely,

KLM NIGERIA

Na wah oh, could this be a falout of the Aviation Industry probe ?

Most likely. But does this mean pulling out of Nigerian routes instead of just reducing their tariffs?

Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not.
