Queen advertises for a new chauffeur

The Queen is advertising a new driver and one who has the knack to deal with a delicate situation.
A vacancy posted on the monarchy’s official website clearly states that the new chauffeur has the ability to ‘deploy tact and diplomacy when necessary’ - an understandable requirement when working with the UK's most high profile family and their guests.
The job description states the successful candidate will be responsible for driving members of the Royal Family, Household officials, guests and official visitors around the UK, as directed by the Head Chauffeur

The £23,000-a-year job is based on working 48 hours-a-week with accommodation also available

The new driver must have a full clean driving licence, clear communication skills and be motivated and committed to maintaining high standards
