Whitney Houston; Cocain found in hotel room

Authorities recovered cocaine in the hotel room where Whitney Houston died ... chouckie.blogspot has learned.

As for the quantity of cocaine that was found, official documents show one of the items police recovered was "white, powdery remnants." Sources tell us the powder was tested and it's cocaine.

We're told Beverly Hills detectives are NOT investigating rumors that someone removed cocaine from the room, because they're convinced it wasn't removed.

Sources directly involved in the investigation told us early on ... no illegal drugs were recovered from the room. We have circled back with these sources who now tell us they were unaware at the time that cocaine was present.

Bottom line -- cops are in the final stages of their investigation, but they are not focusing on anyone who possibly removed cocaine, because authorities are in possession of the goods

‘I know he has one house he bought in Lagos. But I’m sure he didn’t buy the house in NICON. So he must have rented the place, and it must have cost a fortune’, one source told us last night.

Sources say one of the reasons that informed Jazzy’s relocation, was when he discovered his partner Dbanj, with whom he recently split,had changed the keys and locked up the Lekki residence once occupied by himself and Don Jazzy. We’re told the producer briefly stayed with another Mo’Hits act Dr SID at his 1004 residence, before moving into his own home.

Before moving over to Lekki, a Lagos suburb favoured by the upwardly mobile and elite Lagosians, the Mo’hits crew all lived together at the popular Maryland duplex

Spurs can't afford Adebayor

Tottenham are considering pulling the plug on their attempts to sign Emmanuel Adebayor on a full-time basis.

It was revealed earlier this year the White Hart Lane club had entered talks with Manchester City over turning the forward's loan deal permanent.

Adebayor earns £170,000-per-week on his City contract, which still has two years left to run.

And chairman Daniel Levy is starting to feels throwing more money at trying to land the Togo forward would not represent value for money.

Levy is now preparing to pursue other avenues in the club's search for a centre-forward, with Marseille striker Loic Remy and Villareal forward Giuseppe Rossi high on the agenda

The Abuja office and showroom of ALIBERT ( located beside Amigo Supermarket ) on Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent Wuse 2,  went up in flames this morning. The cause of the fire incident was yet to be ascertained at the time of filing this report.

House Chairman in Big Trouble

The leadership of the House of Representatives may prevail on the Committee Chairman on Capital Market, Hon. Herman Hembe, to stand down over Thursday’s corruption charges against him.
The decision will be taken on Tuesday when the matter is tabled at the plenary, a principal officer of the House told us.

The spokesman of the House, Hon Zakari Mohammed, confirmed that the allegation against Hembe would be discussed during plenary on Tuesday but denied knowledge of plans to ask him to step aside as the head of the probe panel

Fabrice Muamba resuscitated

UK Jails Arik Air Stewardess for Cocaine Smuggling

An air stewardess who was caught trying to smuggle a quarter of a million pounds worth of cocaine into the UK has been jailed for five and a half years.

Chinwendu Uwakaonyenma Ogbonnaya, 29, from Lagos in Nigeria had flown into London’s Heathrow airport as a member of crew on an Arik Air flight from Lagos on 18 December 2011.

During searches by UK Border Agency officers at the airport’s crew clearance facility, searches of her luggage revealed that she was carrying a rucksack with a false back.
Officers discovered packages of cocaine hidden behind the false back.

Forensic tests later showed the packages contained approximately two kilos of high purity cocaine, which if cut and sold on the UK streets would have had a value of around £250,000.
Ogbonnaya claimed that she had been given the bag by a friend and that she was unaware it contained drugs.

However, she later pleaded guilty to attempting to import a class A drug, and a judge at Isleworth Crown Court in west London today (Thursday 2 February) sentenced her to five and a half years in prison.

SEC DG - Arunmah Oteh sparks and spits fire

Director general of the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC), Arunmah Oteh on Thursday, questioned the competence of Hon Herman Hembe, the chairman of the House Committee on the Capital Market.

Oteh accused the chairman of demanding for N39 million for public hearing and out which he also demanded for N5m in cash on Tuesday before the investigations started. She also told the committee that Hembe was given a business class ticket in October last year to represent the country in a conference in Dominican Republic which he failed to attend.

 She asked the chairman to tell Nigerians whether he attended the conference and whether he refunded the money paid to him to attend the conference.

In his response, Mr. Hembe said he was surrendering himself to the ICPC and EFCC for probe over the allegations. Wow! Lets see how it all goes
